Career ServicesThe Career Services team at TechSkills of California prepares our students and alumni for a successful job search through the development of knowledge and skills. From the day you are accepted into our program, the relationship with our office begins — career assessments tailored to provide you an in-depth baseline analysis, planning for a strategic career action plan, and networking with other new and current students and alumni of Techskills of California. The Career Services staff works diligently to develop and maintain relationships with employers, locally and nationally. Our experts will assist you through the process of developing a professional profile, connecting with key members of your industry of interest, and obtaining that ideal internship or job. TechSkills Of California's Career Services department provides comprehensive ‘best practices’ educational planning centered on helping TechSkills graduates explore their options. Career Services includes activities which identify potential job titles and information on: Employment Listings - Career Services makes available through the Internet, listings of employment opportunities for graduates, and internships for practical, on-the-job experience for current students. Alumni Contacts - Alumni in many career fields may discuss their backgrounds and career choices with students. For more information, or if you wish to conduct informational interviews or participate in "career shadowing," contact a career counselor. Employer Presentations - Representatives of employers discuss career opportunities within their organizations and distribute company information.
